Izex glanced around wearily as he slipped slightly on a loose rock. Gluping the Alpha closed his eyes shut tight, pulling his hind leg up and carefully placing it on the ground. Ears pulled back slightly as slowly he opened his yellow eyes, staring striaght ahead towards one of the many entrances to Lobo Caverns. Leioi had told him of rouge wolves that took refuge here. Maybe he could find some to up his packs ranks? Though there were stories of large cats and feirce wolves that took no prisioners. Lifting a paw off the ground Izex slowly made his way towards the darkened entrance.
His gaze moved towards the small ledge, the black wolf immedately regretting the action. One wrong move could send him plummiting to his death. Not a happy thought. Closing his eyes yet again and mumbling small words to himself Izex began moving towards the hole in the wall. Next thing the 2 year old wolf knew he was standing outside the dark abyss. Now came teh hard part. The darkness.
Taking another gulp Izex took two paces in and halted. "Anyone here?" he howled out.

Four slender legs moved in unison as a black and brown brute made his way through the eerie darkness. Up until now, Dolosus had been living with a few others, for the sake of safety. But lately, he had been becoming less and less social, snapping at any that cross his path. Muzzle wrinkled as black lips pulled back, gleamy canines now exposed. Spotted tounge caressed ivory daggers as the male crouched low to the ground.
Anyone here?
One ebony hark raised as the male stopped abruptly. Blue-green opts darted around wildly, looking for any clues that might lead to the sorce of the sound. Nothing. It was just too dark to see. The only light was far too dim to be able to locate things by. Drat. Well, soon enough, Dolosus would come across the other being in these Caverns. Heart drummed as the male started off on a slow crawl again, long claws clicking against the rock-hard ground.

"Hello!" Probably not the best way to get someone's attention in a cavern full of exhiled and renagage wolves. Then again, he needed anything to help his pack when there was no for sure agreement that the packs would get along. However, the young Alpha was too naive to listen to the warnings given to him by the others in the pack. Tail flicked once before he summoned enough courage to go father into the darkness.
Sniffing around a tad, Izex ran nose first into a wall, yelping before falling back onto his rump. Shaking his head the bi-colored wolf perked his ears and looked around. He could have sworn the darkness was getting darker with each step taken. "I'm looking for a wolf! A wolf to help me!"

I'm looking for a wolf! A wolf to help me!
Ebony aud perked again as Dolosus stopped his crawl. Lips curled into a devilish smile as opts narrowed. This other creature lurking in the darkness was close...the voice was becoming louder. Plume flicked as he slowly took off again, that strange clicking from his talons tapping against the rock floor. As he snaked his way deeper into the dark, a flush of cold air slapped at him, fluttering his charcoal coat. Shaking maw, Dolosus's nares twiched as he realised...this other creature was male. Out of luck. He sure was hoping for a female to take advantage of.
Chest heaved as Dolosus raised his maw. No need to try any sneak attacks now. Now that his hopes of a female to force-breed were now diminished. Taking long strides, the male continued to try and search around in the dark, no shame in his game. It was as if he was just flowing through the caverns like a river. Constantly flowing. Always assured in its destination. Hello He spoke out in that emotionless tone in which he had perfected.

His left ear flicked as a clicking sound vibrated off the walls. Izex's head snapped towards the source of the sound, where the noise was loudest. Head cocked to the side slightly in curisoity at what was creating that sound. Maybe a wolf? Or a feline if he was unlucky. God, how he hoped it was a wolf that wouldn't tear his throat out. The Alpha took a pawstep back, a front paw lifted off the ground as he looked side to side for what was coming for him. Muscles were tense though he would rather talk than fight.
Drinking the scents through his nose Izex shifted through the smells that came to him. Most were old, by a few days at least. Plus the wind was against him. Almost as soon as the sound came it was gone and the eyes of another could be seen right inf ront of him. Hiding a squeak of surprise the young wolf's pelt bristled, ears pulling back as a low rumble formed in his throat. "Friend or foe?" he asked, trying to get teh same emotionless tone the other wolf had. However, there was a small hint of fear in his voice as he spoke. Yellow eyes narrowed slightly though Izex couldn't help but be curious about this wolf.

Friend or foe?
A low and raspy chuckle formed in his throut as the male slowly began to circle the other brujo, keeping eyes on him at all times. This other being was canine, indeed. A young one, at that. You know, ya never can tell these days... he replied, afterwards letting out another sinister laugh. Snapping at the air once, Dolosus continued his slow trip around the other male. Plume flicked and harks swivled. This was going to be interesting.
Without a doubt, this other being was wolf. Those yellow opts were a give away. Dolosus could also tell that this male was young and afraid. Afraid of the dark. Afraid of Dolosus. Perfect. Scaring others was always a sure fire way to earn respect. Judging by the other males scent, Dolosus could tell that he was a great deal older, which might give him an advantage if this other male decided to act up. Refusing to speak, Dolosus stopped circling the other male, taking a seat behind him.

That laugh made his spine shiver and eyes clench shut. What was it with wolves and those laughs these days? He heard his alpha advisor laugh like that at least three times a day after he had asked him a question. Izex wasn't very proud of himself and being only a two year old alpha and had issues finding strength in himself at times. This was one of those times. Ears pulled back as he drew back slightly. His back bumped into the male causing Izex to jump, yelp, and spin around. Though he was so surprised he fell onto the ground with a thud and an "oof!"
Shaking his head to clear his head the obviously younger wolf stood. He had to be brave. Hopefully this was just an act. Yeah. Flase hope always got you somewhere. Sarcasm aside in his mind Izex took a step forward and nodded his head to the other wolf. It wouldn't do much good in the darkness. "I'll ask again. Friend or Foe? Because to me, you sound more like Foe at the moment."

You sound more like Foe at the moment
Laughing again, Dolosus shook his maw. Inhaling deeply he nodded, gathering his thoughts, and looked onward. Pup, I don't think you know who you're dealing with. I do not fight unless an approiate reason arose. Being gray in the nose has its advantages. Being older, you have more experience. More knowledge of the world. Age is a wounderful thing. Nose twiched and snout wrinkled. Paws fiddled in anticipation as Dolosus awaited what this young wolf would do.
Surely, Dolosus would be able to fight him off. Bordem sunk into him like a moistened blanket as each passing moment ticked away without anything going on except the awkward silence. So, pup. What importance do you have here? Cause you sure seem like the type that needs to be watched over by mum mum. Snorting once, silver hue danced around exhaled breath as the cave seemed to decrease in temperature.

He was a pup compared to this wolf but that didn;t mean he couldn't stand up for himself. It was good to see he didn't fight without reason. That would make his time here easier and he wouldn't always have to be on guard though it wasn't a good idea to drop his guard. Then again, Izex was still wet behind the ears when it came to many things. He let his muscles loosen, letting his guard down in the process.
Now these taunts about his mother was something Izex didn't take lightly. Fur bristled as he narrowed his eyes slightly. "For your imformation I am the Alpha of the Zerian pack!" Tail lashed side to side as he spoke, teeth bared slightly as he circled around towards the entrance, using his nose to guide him through the darkness. Even though he was close to the exit Izex didn't leave, instead waiting to see what this male had to say to him.

For your imformation I am the Alpha of the Zerian pack!
Oh really? Never heard of ya. So, how did you come to be Alpha? Steal the land? He called, auds swivled as he felt the other males presence leave. Scoffing once, Dolosus shook his maw and snorted. The standards for Alpha these days must be lacking. Cause if this pup was in charge, there seriously was a problem. Nares twiched, picking up the sweet scent of fresh air, following the trail of smells. Might as well leave....since there was no one to make fun of, any more.
Plume flicked as muscles rippled, taking off in a slow trot twoards the exit. After rambleing around in the dark for a few moments, Dolosus finally came alongside the so called "Alpha" once more. Instead of talking, nipping, or even looking at the male, Dolosus walked right past him. Atleast they weren't forced to be together. Dolosus could just up and leave. Leave this "Alpha" to his biddings. There must be other packs in this joint, right? Might aswell pair up in another pack and leave this Alpha to do...whatever it is he must. Dolosus was not going to hang around and baby him. Unless, of course, this male promised ranking. Perhaps Head Scout? Head Warrior? Alpha Advisor? Delta? Beta? Anything of that sort might persuade him to stay. Having power was an intriguing thought. But, why get his hopes up? Might aswell just find another pack and work up in rank from there. How long could it take?
OOC: Don't worry. This is not an exit post. It's just...a post to take up space.

Izex growled lowly, tail thrashing side to side as he came apon daylight. He wrinkled his nose and scrunched his eyes against the harsh light, taking one pawstep back in surprise. Finally adjusting to the light he grinned and trotted down to the ledge, taking a deep breath of fresh air. He could care less what this wolf did though he did need new members. Meny pros and cons runshed through his mind at that wolf joining. He didn't want his pack to be one of evil, just to live in peace with the other packs. But he had said he didn't fight without reason. That was something, right?
Sighing, the black and red wolf turned towards the larger and older one. "My pack needs members if we are to survive these lands. What can I possibly offer for you to join? I can't ofer much, but...." he paused at this, feeling he had said enough and the other wolf might catch his drift. Hopefully he did because Izex didn't really feel like explaining it.
