I know it's stupid but some people seriously don't know how to set up a character trade. So this is for those who do not understand how to trade one of their characters.
A few rules to begin with. Normally, even though its called a trade, you will not get anything in return. This board is for those people that have characters they don't wish to play anymore such as family members, old wolves, or pups. There is a seperate board for designs and they should NOT go here.
Normally a trade is done through tryouts. A tryout is a small one person rp of that character's personality for the person who has that character up to read and decide who captures their characters personality best. This applies for Main Characters as well as newborns of any sorts.
If it is an old character someone may say 'First come First serve.' This means that the first person to come and say they want that character gets it. If you hate someone and they want to character and you said First come First serve they get that character! You cannot say "Nope. Sorry. You aren't getting it"
Now for the basic skeleton of what a Character Trade thread could look like.
You need to have the characters name, age, gender, pack, rank, height, weight, and any sort of kin. A personality is a must for any character! If it is a pup you just need their name and personality as well as a good description if there is no picture and their parents. There must be a deadline for any character put up. I don't care if it ends next year as long as there is one.
If it is an old character you can have a history up. It is not needed though. Also, the scenarios in which the tryout is based off of should be somewhere in there.
